Lifelong Learning:

Faith-Formation-LogoFew aspects of Catholic thought are more controversial than the Church’s positions on sex and sexuality.
There is a huge gulf between Church teaching on the perspectives commonly held in Western culture. It is assumed that the Church’s position is, therefore, a massive obstacle at odds with the goals of the New Evangelization.
At 7 p.m., this Thursday evening, Dr. David Deane will offer a presentation which aims to:
a) unpack the Church’s position on sex and sexuality,
b) show that it is more coherent than often assumed, and
c) explore the possibilities for, and limits on, this position evolving.
All are invited to attend. Bring a family member or friend!

All Saints / All Souls:

Prayer candleWe celebrate these Feasts next weekend, November 1 and 2, respectively.
The Knights of Columbus have issued an invitation to attend the 4 p.m. Mass, and a Dinner following, in the Parish Hall.
This Dinner is open to all parishioners, and a brief prayer service of remembrance will form a part of the program.

Our ‘Book of Remembrance:
is now available at the front of the Church, if you wish to enter the names of your deceased loved ones for prayers throughout the month of November.
